New book to read: ‘Ten Lessons for a Post-Pandemic World’
This winter Rev. Cindy is asking us to read Fareed Zakaria’s new book, Ten Lessons for a Post-Pandemic World, as a primer for us at St, James to imagine 2021 and beyond. “With the vaccine just weeks away from us and hopefully signaling that we’ll be back in community soon,” Rev. Cindy writes, “we can begin reimagining our future. Our priorities will shift from five years ago. Our kids will return a year older. Families that you haven’t met, who joined us virtually, will be attending church live and in-person. It’s all pretty exciting, if you ask me! There will be so much opportunity to continue ‘Engaging Our Faith,’ doing good, remaining inclusive, and leveraging our technology. While we will remain the open and resilient church we always have been, I am certain we will be able to reach more people with the Good News!
“This Epiphany let’s do our part to bring in the Kingdom of God. I believe Fareed Zakaria’s new book, Ten Lessons for a Post Pandemic World. will inspire us to do just that!”
