You are cordially invited to the St. James Concert Series!

We are very pleased to
resume our concert
schedule after the
COVID-19 hiatus.
Our selections for the
2021–2022 season are
chosen to inspire and
entertain. Led by our
music director and organist, Daniel Resch, and pianist, Michael Denison, our concerts feature beautiful voices and instrumentalists. Our season opened with a spooky concert of Halloween selections followed by the popular “Messiah” in December. In February we will be having our début gala concert of opera arias and songs to benefit our music program. May will see the Rachmaninoff
Piano Concerto No. 2. The season concludes with MenAlive celebrating LGBTQ Pride month in June. Bring all your friends!

Rachmaninoff/Fauré Concert

Sunday, May 1, 2022 • 5 p.m.

Two favorites from the Romantic era of music headline our May concert. Just as Rachmaninoff recovered from his depression and wrote this brilliant concerto, your spirit will soar with the emotion and sentimentality interpreted for us by Michael Denison on the piano with Daniel Resch at the organ. The program continues with Fauré’s moving “Requiem,” performed by the Laguna Beach Chorale, featuring St. James’ own Colin Ramsey, bass. Daniel Resch conducts the chorus and orchestra.
