Sunday Services & Beyond

St. James is a community of ordinary people from all walks of life trusting God to do what we sometimes can’t — heal, transform, renew, forgive, provide, and sustain the world. Through our stories and our ministries, lives are changed, and communities are enhanced.

Our goal is to welcome all to share and enjoy a faith-focused lifestyle with activities that extend beyond Sunday’s service into education, entertainment, and positive outreach to our community.

To do this, we are creating a contemporary community church that is stimulating and accessible to both our congregation and the wider community.

Worship 024 (for Sept 2020 update) 570 p
Worship: 10 a.m., Sundays

Our services are rich in ancient tradition, mixed with modern mediums, and a relevant message for today. The service is designed so that the worship, sermon, music, and activities focus on a theme so you can think, pray, and act on what you have learned that day.

We welcome you to participate in a mixed variety of worship venues to explore your spiritual journey.

Children’s Church

We believe children are the future not only of the church but also of our country and the world. A solid faith-based education will prepare your children for what awaits them in their relationships, schools, and extra-curricular activities. With our Children’s Church, we strive to be current in our Sunday School lessons and education, using technology to impart relevant, ethical and moral based teachings that address current events against the backdrop of the gospel message.  Art, music, song, drama, set design, lighting, and sound are all integrated into our curriculum for each age group. Safe and quality licensed care for your children is of paramount importance to our ministry.

Bible Study Classes

Through worship, study, and community we encounter the divine and grow in a spiritual life. Discovering that everyone is called to ministry, no matter what age, opens the door to endless possibilities. Studying the Bible and other spiritual writings gives us a foundation to draw from as we grow in our walk with God. We offer a monthly small-group Bible study fellowship program tailored to suit your lifestyle and spiritual-development needs.
